Q. Who needs to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC)?
- Foreigners who will be staying in Korea for more than 90 days (i.e. work/study) are required to apply for Alien Registration Card (ARC).
* Holders of A-1, A-2 and A-3 visa are exempted from this requirement.
Q. When to apply?
- Foreigners must register themselves within 90 days from their arrival date.
Q. Where to apply?
- Local immigration office or branch office under relevant jurisdiction.

Q. Return of ARC
- ARC must be returned to the Immigration Office / immigration officer at the departure airport or port upon final departure.
- Failure to return ARC will result in fine.
